These guys are fantastic! After moving in to our new home we recently had a day and a half of steady rain, an existing hidden crack in the basement wall started letting water in and soaking the carpet, and after pulling the drywall and rigid foam away a 6 foot crack was revealed. water was coming in at over 60 liters every 24 hours we could hardly keep up. I called HBD, and Jim came out within an hour, evaluated the situation, said no problem.
The next day two techs came out and unbelievably got the crack sealed with it still gushing, it took four hours but they got it done, and stuck to their quote which was great. Highly recommended.

Your crew called me the morning of the installation to confirm that they would be there at the agreed upon time and then actually arrived when they said they would be there. The two young men that did the installation were courteous and professional. They answered all my questions, instructed me of exactly what they would be doing, made suggestions and told me when they would be done. Your crew left my basement clean and even left a personalized note thanking me and offering some additional services if I was so inclined.

I’ve been meaning to drop you a note about the project in our basement and, having now finally re-hung the closet door in the bedroom, I figured it was time.

I can’t begin to tell you how much we appreciated your unwavering dedication to addressing the ongoing issues with our wet basement.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen, in a contractor, such commitment to getting a job done just right, and such an incredible effort to communicate with customers on the progress of the work.  Lise and I are thrilled to have our downstairs back, and we remain hopeful and optimistic that the rains of 2013 (and 2014, 2015, and many years after that) will come and go without ever finding their way past the dry track.  I will be eager to drop you a note late this summer to report that we’ve remained high and dry.  With the thorough work of you and your team (and a wee bit of luck, just in case), I like our chances.
